Welcome to the photography of Takeshi Nishiyama.

This site introduces the work of Takeishi Nishiyama.
Photographs tell the truth and it is ark which keeps contacts with the past, present and future.
Photographs record images as they are. They can then be altered to create something contemporary and modern.
These images of the present and past are then recorded for the future and are memories in out hearts.
I send this message to everyone who loves the beautiful art of photography.

Works

Paris

On the anniversary of the French Revolution, Paris at night shows a different side of its self. The historic architecture of the city is illuminated as people fill the streets to create a symphony of celebration. The finale of this piece is the firework display that seems to cause the whole world to stand still as all eyes look up with excitement to watch these flowers of the sky.
I took these pictures to capture the beauty of that night.

Ueno hikoma prize winner.
The work is permanently stored to the Kiyosato photo art museum.

REHABILITATION

The wave of life, where will it surge and break? What do you see in the daily in the daily ups and downs of your wave? If you resist the flow, you will slip and fall.
These photos were taken as I crested a new wave in my life, a change of direction.

Plant's

I have created these images using plants that have evolved without soil, using only water in the air and light to survive.
The shape and form of these plants show a stark absoluteness so I’ve added color to the images to create a more dynamic picture.
These are the first images I created for my studio

The work is permanently stored to the Kiyosato photo art museum.

Legend of venice

Venice, the city of water, has had a long and remarkable history. A complex of waterways, stone walls and legends.
In February, many masked people move through the fog and gather together at the Piazza San Marco for a festival as many Spectators watch.
Each mask covers the wearer’s identity but their eyes shine through to reveal their personality. Using my camera, I try to capture the person behind the mask as they dance, sing, drink and laugh.
The day that I left Venice I felt I might find the truth of the mask the next time I return.
